Dili- To celebrate 4th anniversary, CAC will hold a half-day round table discussion with topic “Integrity is the Key to Fight Against Corruption” on Friday (21/2) tomorrow.
The speakers to lead discussion will be CAC Commissioner Aderito de Jesus Soares, President of Public Service Commission Eng. Liborio Pereira, MIM, Member of Parliament Committee A, Aniceto Guterres, Father Mouzinho Lopes, Pr . Deputy Commissioner CAC, Jose Antonio das Neves will also present key findings of the “Integrity Survey of Public Servants in Timor-Leste” that was published by CAC last year.
This discussion will be participated by Director Generals from all line ministers as well as academicians from universities such as UNTL, DIT, UNPAZ, UNDIL and civil society organizations such as CEPAD (Center for Peace and Development Studies) and GOPAC (Global Organization of Parliamentarians against Corruption).
The objective of this round table discussion is to gather critical thinking from all key parties on ways to strengthen both personal and institutional integrity in a collective effort to fight against corruption and uphold the values of good governance in the young nation of Timor-Leste. Furthermore, this topic is also reflecting the commitment of public servants especially Senior Public Servants to serve public with responsibility, transparency and accountability in their work place.
