CAC Conducts Wall Newspaper Competition to Secondary Schools

Dili- Today, Comissao Anti-Corrupcao (CAC) conducts Wall Newspaper competition to Private and Public Secondary Schools at Canossians Nuns Convent Becora. This competition is one of the activities to celebrate CAC 4th anniversary. This year topic is “Integrity is the Key To Fight Against Corruption”.

The objective of the competition is to engage students in a collective effort to fight corruption as well as to improve their writing and analytical skills.

“CAC always involves students in its activities for almost four years of the existence because students are the future leader and will be decision makers in in the society” says Deputy Commissioner Jose Antonio de Jesus das Neves in his opening remarks.

“That’s why; CAC always invites and involves students in this kind of activity as part of education outreach program to instill early awareness in the young generation not to fall into corruption practices” He added.

Senior High School of Colegio Paulo VI, Senior High School Coraco de Jesus Becora, Senior High School Canossa Has Laran, Senior High School Kristal Balide and Seminario Menor Nossa Senhora de Fatima Balide are participating in this competition. Eight students represent every school. Senior Journalist of Jornal Independenti, Mr. Dede Figueiredo, Editor Chief of Timor Post Rita Almeida and UCAN’s stringer in Timor-Leste, Mr. Thomas Ora are the judges for this competition. (*)
