Hiring New Staff

This month and next April 2012, the Anti-Corruption Commission (CAC) is expected to hire  five more investigators, two media and communication officers, one administrative assistant and one technical assistant. The Commission’s Human Resources Unit is responsible for the overall recruitment process of the new staff and complying with the Public Service Commission’s recruitment procedures.

Last week, forty-one short-listed candidates for the investigation positions underwent writing test in CAC Office and supervised by officers of the Human Resources Unit and the Directorate of the Investigation Unit. Verbal interviews will be followed later for those candidates who have high scores. The recruitment process for media and communication and administration positions is completed this week and the selected candidates are expected to be onboard in early April.

In the coming years, the Commission is expected to recruit more new staff. The Office is expected to be equipped with at least 85 staff.  Currently CAC is functioning with 45 national staff.
