Dili, 23/08/2012—The Anti-Corruption Commissioner Adérito de Jesus Soares and his Deputy Jose de Jesus das Neves yesterday had a coordination meeting with Police Commissioner Longuinhos Monteiro aiming at strengthening working relations between the two institutions.
The meeting that was taken place at the PNTL Office focused on a number of issues regarding a need for joint training between CAC and PNTL on issues that will be defined later and PNTL to help provide security for CAC’s work.
All of these matters will be reflected into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the document is expected to be signed by the two parties in the near future.
The draft MOU is currently being studied by the two Offices.
